A current member of the ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery), Dr. T.K. Shiao has attended many ISHRS annual scientific meetings since 1997 (Barcelona) to acquire the most current knowledge on hair restoration.

For his contributions to the field of hair transplant, Dr. Shiao was introduced as the "Surgeon of the Month" in the Sep/Oct 2008 issue of ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery) Forum,
